What if...

What if this movie or another one had Godzilla and Jet Jaguar vs Mechagodzilla and Gigan? Do you think Jet Jaguar could stand up to MechaGodzilla?

In Godzilla vs Megalon, Jet Jaguar kept the bad monsters occupied until Godzilla got there and they almost defeated Jaguar together. Would Mechagodzilla and Gigan have destroyed him? I think so. Gigan was a cyborg, which means he was partially flesh and blood, but Mechaodzilla was a total robot like Jaguar. Mechagodzilla had extra gadgets and weapons, where as Jaguar was more of a simple robot and could only rely on brute force and martial arts moves.

A strike against Mechagodzilla was that he was always controlled by humans. Jaguar broke away from that. The more control a monster had over his own actions, the more formidable he could be (unless he turned chicken and retreated). The humans controlling the monster probably were never in a real fight themselves (or they may not have won if they were) so they may not have been very battle savvy, thus the monster would not have done as well in battle. Mechagodzilla in full control over his own actions would have been more unstoppable. Even if the humans were battle savvy, fighting giant monsters with a remote controlled monster is far different from fighting a normal-sized human by yourself. It would be the same thing if a giant monster controlled a human in a human vs human fight between normal-sized humans.

I will say this for Jaguar- he was tougher than King Ceasar in Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla (1974). Ceasar wasn't controlled by humans either, but maybe he was controlled by tradition and spells performed by ancient humans.
