Mortal Kombat + Enter the Dragon

Did anyone else notice that Mortal Kombat has similarities to Enter the dragon?

1. Both movies have tournaments on an island.

2. Liu Kang goes to the tournament to avenge his brother's death and defeat Shang Tsung. -- Lee goes to Han's island to fight Han and avenge his sister's death.

3. Both Johnny Cage and Roper have A LOT of luggage.

4. Williams and Art Lean are the two African american fighters who get killed.

5. Bolo and Goro are the like the "strongmen", who are later defeated by Roper and Cage.

6. There are 2 women, blonde and brunette, in each movie that interact with the main characters. Lee and Roper -- Mei Ling and Tania. Liu and Johnny -- Kitana and Sonya. Plus, Kitana and Mei Ling are kept under a watchful eye by the antagonist or others.

7. There's a brief intro to the main characters' lives.

8. Both Han and Shang Tsung die of being impaled through the body.
