Perhaps Han felt more confident in the mirror room, since Lee was desoriented, and decided to play a little with him.
shareI've always wondered this exact same thing. He could've stabbed him in the back and that would have been the end of it. Unless he wanted to defeat him honorobly and kill him from the front and not like a coward from behind.
