7/10. Here's why:


Most of the actors in ENTER THE DRAGON clearly didn't believe in their lines. Yes, the dialogue is cheesy, but not all of it, so it's not an excuse. The exception to this is Bruce Lee. Most people talk about him being a great martial artist, but very few talk about him as an actor. Too bad, because here he displays intense emotions and has a lot of charisma. The majority of the fight scenes are great, but a couple of them were filmed entirely with close-ups, so it's hard to tell what's happening.

I agree about the fight scenes. The cinematography in them is terrible at times. Maybe it's because the version I have is the 4:3 tv ratio? I wonder if the widescreen version fixed that, or if Robert Clouse really was stupid enough to keep the viewer from seeing and appreciating Lee's amazing choreography...
