Melissa Greene as Zemko's Girlfriend

I was trying to look up the hippie chick that went off with Blake's character to give more information for the investigation after the incident at the commune. I'm guessing she is credited as Zemko's Girlfriend and was played by Melissa Greene. Anyway I found a more recent interview with her here:

If you read down it sounds like the script she started with made her almost a co-star instead of just ending up with a couple of lines. She also describes a scene in which she and Blake's character were mostly nude in a car, which obviously didn't make it after the final cut.

I was wondering if anyone knew any more about this.

The 2005 MGM DVD of the film has an intro (and commentary) by the director- he mentions that the shoot was 10 pages behind schedule and the producers were breathing down his neck- his solution was to ditch 10 pages of script, the pages which focus on Melissa Greene's character.

Hippy chicks are normally pretty hot. You never see a fat one.
