did anyone notice something odd about the volkwagon vans art work

I'm a great fan of Electra Glide in Blue and have seen it many times over.I wondered how many viewers noticed that when ever the hippie van was in shot the art work of the landscape painted on the vw was exactly the same as the real background.
Dont believe me? take another look. I wonder if anyone out there has any theories about this?

Didnt see that but I will take notice, it was on last night too.
It may represent, if anything at all, that the hippies had a greater love and respect for the land that these cops, who were leaning on them allot, worked around. And it could have meant that the land that Big John worked in would be where he would meet his fate...maybe a precusor for things to come.

I think you were as smoked up as the hippie when you saw this

I know I was once, and I think I saw a hidden gunman in the mountain

The director had the van painted, so it makes sense. Also Monument Valley is so iconic I guess many hippy vans would have featured it?

Necroposting to say that yes, I just notice the today too. When they first pull the van over and open both doors, it makes a perfect image of the valley behind them.
