I've heard that this some of the people behind the X-Files are re-making this movie for the big screen. The fact that is from some of the folks behind X-Files, I imagine (and am hoping) that it will have a very high 'creep-factor' to it.

I also imagine that when it is released on the big screen, the original will be released on DVD. That's usually the case with these things.

I hope the people behind the X-Files reconsider and DO NOT remake this movie: look at what they did to the Night Stalker (cancelled! Don't F with the good Kolchak name!)
