Katie Holmes in remake
I read that Katie Holmes will playing the Kim Darby part. There was a time when tv would adapt a big screen movie to a the small tube sometimes it worked (MASH, In the Heat of the Night), most time it didn't (Remember Working Girl with Sandra Bullock?) Now it has completely flipped. Movie producers are turning to the small tube to feed the big screen. Why? I think they are too afraid of doing something original that may flop and just to be safe they go to something with a built in familiarity, which may or may not be successful.
