I might be an 18 year old going on 19 teenager I absoultely do not want this classic to be remade god does hollywood don't know how to make a decent movie. man oh man it seems like they don't care about the originals they just want to mess them up and make them their own way eg: gangster type music, hire actresses that look like paris hilton or jessica simpson that act like sluts on camera who can't act for *beep* I'm going to start a petition to stop remakes of classics from happening

Guillermo del Toro is writing and producing so I wouldn't be too worried...

Depends which del Toro as he seems to have dual personalities. If it's the del Toro who made The Devil's Backbone and Cronos, then, yes, it should be superb, but if it's the Del Toro who made Pan's Labyrinth and Hellboy, then expect the usual comic book crap.
