The remake

If the planned remake doesn't end up in development hell or something, tghere is a couple of changes from the original I would like to see:

The little demons should be better looking. In the original, they looks like sad and old little men covered with black fur or feathers.

A more realistic explenation on how they could kidnap Sally at the end. Trust me, just a couple of sleeping pills doesn't make you weak as a baby. I also doubt the little creature would be strong enough to drag away an adult human.

Make it more clear exactly what they wanted with her, what happens to those taken, and if her grandfather was mong the three demons. Did she become a demon herself? In that case, show it, and make the demon look similar enough that we can see it's still her.

They said they wanted to be free. They already were free, but I guess they meant free to go wherever they wanted in the world, just not in and around the house. If so, how many humans do they need to join them (and how does becoming a demon makes them stronger) before they are finally free, and what are the rules?

To be honest, I think the less explained it is the better, and the demons will be cgi if they do it now.

I don't agree, there has to be some logic and explenation behind it, even if we don't have to be explained everything in every little detail.

Many tiny creatures in our world today are able to lift and carry hundreds of times their own body weight, so why not some creepy little basement dwelling creatures?

Because the bigger a creature gets, the smaller the ability to lift many times its own weight gets. It's a perfect explanation for this, since the volum increases more and more as it gets bigger. And these demons were not exactly ants, they were more like rodents. And when was three rats able to carry a human?

when 3 supernatural little critters have the demonic strength to do it. Hey, if one can hold a string to trip her without having the string ripped out of it's hands, I think 3 can drag her. The writer of the script gave them the power...Just like George Lucas gave some furry little rodents the power to defeat the Empire.

And wasn't there just a story in NY where a crowd of humans lifted a 5 ton bus off a pregnant woman? http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-na-runover16-2008aug 16,0,6065137.story

It's still a long ways off, I think the projected release date is 2012. The really good news is that it is being co-written and produced by Guillermo Del Toro for Mirimax. Del Toro has a great grasp and appreciation of the genre, more than he''s really been able to show in his movies to date. I think he will do a great job with it.

Or how about not watching it if you don't have a desire to see it?
