I love this movie and watched it over and over as a kid whenever it would show up on 'Dialing for Dollars'. Unfortunately, that was back in the 70's and I haven't seen it since.
I seem to recall a scene where a woman finds hex signs (hidden?) on a barn or some other structure along with bottle filled with creatures? Is that part of DBAOTD or am I thinking of some other movie?

shareYou are correct. It was another, well-made supernatural gothic made-for-tv thriller, SOMETHING EVIL. The late Darren McGavin (d.2005 or 2006) portrayed the loving, understanding, advertising executive husband and father. The actress who portrayed the wife was a solid B list actress with lots of film/tv credit to her name. She passed away in 1994 or 95 from illness.
