The stupity of the film is that no one speaks French!

Set in France, people with French names running around, yet no one speaks French. It was very jarring to see people in the street go up to each other and start conversations in English.

Movies are made in the language of the intended audience. This was intended for an American audience therefore they had to speak English.

When we watch anime or read manga, even if it is set in Rome or Germany, the language is still in Japanese.

It has 3 versions, in English, French and Italian, you watched the English version.
