Moviepilot article on The Day of the Jackal

As a follow-up to my Algeria article, I wrote a rather lengthy analysis of Jackal. Fortunately, research for this one required reading a few interviews and rewatching one of my favorite movies. For your consideration:

I promise to be more sparing with self-links in the future.

I'm afraid that you underestimate the number of subjects in which I take an interest!

Nice analysis of the film Hancock- you hit just about every salient point I can think of about what makes it such an interesting and entertaining movie, certainly one of my favorite films as well. It's amazing how well the novel and film keeps one's interest when, if one has the slightest knowledge of history, knows that De Gaulle was never assassinated! Though there were dozens of attempts/plots on his life. Fyi, only the Battle of Algiers link worked for me. Interesting post there too.

Thanks Turtletommy. The only thing I missed was comparing/contrasting film with book, but figured the article was long enough as it was. Sorry about the links, Moviepilot can be buggy with those.
