Dental records switching scene missing from DVD!!!

Hey, love this movie, but the pan and scan DVD is missing the scene where Charlie sneaks into the dentist office in the middle of the night and switches the x-rays of himself and Harmon. And you thought releasing the DVD in full frame format was the worst thing that could happen...

reply

I have the normal DVD version of the film and it is on that.

I read that the x-ray scene had to be re-shot (notice Varricks sideburns, they are longer) because somebody lost or ruined the original shot. Maybe that had something to do with it not being on pan/scan.

"You sent us to guard the wrong man Mr. Chalmers."

That scene's crucial to the whole scene, what do they think they are doing missing it out?

reply

The American(full screen/pan and scan) DVD still has that scene. I agree, if they cut that out of a DVD its cutting out something crucial.

reply

The UK fullscreen DVD also has this scene included, as part of the film.

How can a scene be crucial to a scene?

Badges? We don't need no stinking badges!

the same way his missing brain cells are important to his missing brain cells
