Which ape villain is your favorite?

There are very few, actually.
Zaius (if he is truly a villain)
Ursus
General Aldo
General Urko
They're all good.

Tbf, I would only say Aldo from your list. If you include the 2001 movie I would add Thade. I wouldn't even add Koba from the new movies as he had his reasons.

It wasnt me, it was the other three. Hang them!

All of the ape villains in the franchise except for Thade "have their reasons". Zaius fears that an intelligent human would be the end of his world (and is, partly because of Zaius himself), Ursus is as much out to secure farmland for the apes as much as for the sheer sake of conquest, Urko feels that Burke and Virdon must be killed before their knowledge infects the humans, and Aldo's a less complex dry run for Koba.

I have to go with the ape that shot Taylor in the throat during the hunt in the original film. What a mean thing that was shooting a unarmed man like that
