Embarassing confession

I am fully aware of the reaction this post will probably generate, but I was genuinely frightened by this movie. I just watched it on AMC, home alone in the middle of the night, and I found myself looking over my shoulder to make sure nothing was creeping up on me. And yes, I'm ashamed to say that I was honestly intrigued by the plot, and thought the movie was pretty good. No kidding. I did find some of Stephanie Beacham's crazy-woman faces a bit hard to swallow though. But she made up for it with her epic cleavage and her great hair. Seldom has a woman looked so good in pseudo-historical costume.

Thanks shady. I couldn't say it better myself. I wasn't screaming my head off or anything. I just felt a little anxious while turning dark corners. As for Enigmatic-Ocean, its definitely the over-active imagination. I grew up in a household without many movies, so I had to rely on my imagination to keep me entertained. As a result, I sometimes blow these things out of proportion. You have to admit it is pretty disturbing subject matter, even if you don't think it was handled well. If you really take the time to think about it (which I did), it's horrific in concept if not in appearance.
