Star Trek The Animated Series 1973-1974?
In your opinion is it even possible to edit the current 22 star trek the animated episodes so they are not aimmed toward kids?
I believe the animated episodes can be edited so they can be more appealing to adults. Certain scenes that were meant to appeal to kids could be redone. Get D.C. Fontana to rewrite these episodes to an hours length,reanimate them into a more life like appearance and have the actors come back and redo their voices and presto we have a more adult TAS. The mindset that everybody(writers,actors,directors,producers) should have going into this project is that this should be considered season 4 of TOS. I have seen some new animation of the interior of the Enterprise and I was astounded at how realistic it was. I believe that the more life like the animation is; the more people will look upon TAS as adult fare.
