How would you design the Enterprise?

And of course when I say the Enterprise, I mean NCC-1701. No bloody A, B, C, D, OR E. And a pretty straight forward question from "How would you reboot Star Trek?", how would you design the Enterprise?

Mind you, except for maintaining the traditional saucer/nacelle configuration, there are no wrong answers. A cheap ass answer like taking the TMP Enterprise and giving it the TOS warp drive and deflector is acceptable. Or even a ballsy answer like shrinking down a Sovereign class to the size of a Constitution class and giving the ship the Star Trek 11 warp drive and neck are acceptable.

And I am not just ask about the exterior, but the interior as well. How would you design the bridge, engineering, sickbay, and so forth? Would you use the Star Trek 6 bridge with the Star Trek 11 graphics, controls and lens flare? Would you use the TMP auxiliary control room and replace the computer core with a holographic astrogator? Will the TNG warp core be surrounded by a brewery?

A typed description or finding a version of the Enterprise on the net is all I'm asking, but if you can draw it and put it on the net, that would be marvelous.
