The bird crewmember

What race or species are those ? It's nice to see a more diverse crew than the live action TOS .

reply

Crewmember? I don't recall seeing any bird like crew members on the Enterprise, but in "Yesteryear" there was a bird like character named Loom Aleek Om who I think was an Aurelian, and in "Jihad" there was a bird like character named Tchar who I think was a Skorr. Trouble is, the two characters looked an awful lot alike, IIRC. ("Loom Aleek Om" and "Aurelian" might not have been spoken on air, but IIRC those names were in the Alan Dean Foster Star Trek Log adaptation.)

Yes, that is who I meant. The one in " Yesteryear " (it was the second episode, I think). He was with the away team, so I just guessed that he was a member of the crew. But there are other alien races too, like the one beside Sulu on the bridge, and also the female feline crew member who sometimes took Uhura's place in Communications .
