I just watched this episode on Youtube and I wonder if the scriptwriter was in sympathizer of Satanism, because in the episode witchcraft, wizards and even the devil himself are presented in a positive way.
I find that very interesting and progressiv.
To this theory would also fit the spelling of "Magicks", because Aleister Crowley invented the term "magick".

This was one of my favorite episodes actually. I loved how open it was to exploring a more sympathetic depiction of the devil.

It was *supposed* to God. NBC-tv had them change God into Satan. That's right: Satan in a Saturday morning cartoon is OK but God is not.
