alien star trek enterprise captain
There has only been human Star Trek Enterprise Captains.
So what think about alien captain of the enterprise?
For example maybe an adorian can be the captain.
Spock has been captain of the Enterprise.

It is possible between Star Trek The Motion Picture and Star Trek The Wrath of Kahn Spock commanded the Enteprise as the new Captain.
Commander Spock of course must of taken Captain Deckers spot.
Then again Admiral James T. Kirk could of commanded the Enteprise as Captain.
In "The Cage" Spock took command of the Enterprise after Pike and Number ONe were captured and sent a message to the crew referring to himself as acting captain. Thus he was brierfly captain of the enterprise years before Kirk was.

And the consensus is that Kirk commanded the Enterprise for a second 5 year mission after the events in TMP, at which point Spock became Captain of the Enterprise. Spock IS the Captain of the Enterprise in TWOK. Kirk is there as an Admiral, inspecting the new trainee crew.

We all know that Spock had the position of Captain In Star Trek Wrath of Kahn but Admiral James T. Kirk acted as The Captain of The Enterprise.
We do not know if Admiral James T. Kirk commanded The Enterprise between Star Trek The Motion Picture and Star Trek Wrath of Kahn.
Wasn't Spock the official CO of the Enterprise, during "The Wrath of Khan?" Of course, it was not a front-line ship, but relegated to the status as a training vessel - but he was still assigned as its CO.
