Gene not knowing pop culture things

I've been watching on Buzzr and three time Gene did not know something. He never heard Disneyworld called The Magic Kingdom. He never heard of the TV show Fantasy Island. He did not know Eddie Fischer daughter was in Star Wars.

So? There is a ton of pop culture stuff I have no idea about. He probably didn't care about that stuff.

Unfortunately, he was republican. I can tell by his demeanor and his reaction at certain times.

I find it funny as a conservative that you couldn't spot one of your own, because Rayburn was a leftist who when he played for charity on "Card Sharks" was playing for Planned Parenthood.

He also didn't know that Chip & Dale were Disney characters. I also saw an episode when one of the female panelists told him she had starred in "Gray Lady Down" and he asked her if she was the Gray Lady. The Gray Lady in question was a submarine.
