last of the summer wine is filmed very close to me, some scenes have been filmed in the village where i live. it is a well known programme round here (obviously) but i wondered where other fans live? also, how old are you all?

Wll, Thongsbridge, for those who also live near by, I live just behind Holmfirth High School, just up the road from the vet.
I remember last year I did my works experience at the Tourist Information office in Holmfirth, there were quite a lot of Americans really, there were people from England too obviously, a few Koreans... And an Austrailian guy who was passing who was passing through with some friends on a tandem. He was doing some round the world on a tandem thing, all very well but one of the parts broke so he spent 2 hours on the phone in the TI office with us and him ringing round all these bycicle places. I think they did find one that sold the parts he needed.
Oh yeah and a bus of French people, one of the other girls who works at the TI office is half French so she served them - I was completly useless, proving that 5 years of French at my high school has taught me nothing! I'm in the top set and all, so these GCSE exams in a few months will be so fun.

Well it is based in holmfirth but they seem to be filmin near my viallge more now
~how can you expect someone to look eye to eye with you if your always looking down on them~
We used to get it in NZ but now it only shows on our UKTV channel. I'm 26 and have been a fan since I was a little girl. I'm visiting the UK later on this year and am so going to Holmfirth!!!!

Visit the Colne Valley aswell! Alot of shots are filmed there especially in Marsden and it's right near Holmfirth so you should be able to find it!xxx
