When Compo died that should have been it. It was never funny in the first place. Nice scenery though.
To say last of the summer wine was never funny is simply not true.
However, the show clearly squeezed it's last juice out of the orange, a long time ago. I'm sorry but they should give the show it's dignity, come up with a good final episode and let it rest in peace.

Well, with the health of the stars to worry about, particularly Sallis', it can't go on much longer. I do believe though, that it will end with him, when he can't continue. They should at least stop then, it wouldn't be right without him.
