Howard related to Auntie?

I'm watching an episode circa 1995 in which Foggy,Norman and Compo are looking for a "secret bike" for Howard. They go to Auntie's shop. Foggy says that Auntie should give them a good deal seeing the the bike is for Howard and he is family. Is Howard a relation of Auntie's??

Maybe Auntie was quite young when Howard was born?

If you watch the episode called Crums (Season 10, Ep 7) you will hear Howards' first reference to Auntie Wainwright being his Auntie. It is also Auntie Wainwrights first appearance in LOTSW.
