kojak reruns(prime time)

a cable network called i(i think, you can find charlies angels and diagnosis murder on this channel also)will be airing kojak reruns starting this sunday(1/7)at 10pm.

this is good. the hallmark channel ran "kojak" almost every sunday for 2 years. and then after they got to the end of season 2,bye bye.

Yes, the i=The Independent Channel, which is a subsidiary of NBC Universal. They'll show "Kojak" every Sunday night from 10-11pm. That's too bad, the channel may have more viewers if they would put "Kojak" every night. Instead they have "Growing Pains" and "Mama's Family" every night, shows many don't care about.

dam I'm so pissed I didn't find out about this untill yesterday. I missed the first couple of episodes which most likely will never air again. What bothers me is the fact that it's airing only once a week. That tells me right there that in all likely hood they will not run even close to the whole series. Think about it, at the rate of one episode per week it would take years to get through the series so they'll probably just run the first two seasons. If it ran every weeknight then we'd have a shot. I just wish I recorded it in the early 90's when it was on every weeknight. Who knew that all these 70's series would be lost forever. God forbid universal should release more than 1 or 2 seasons on dvd on any classic program. Look at what that did with Quincy. They released less than 10% of the series and then they pulled the plug

Right, I'm mad at Universal for stopping further releases of their famous 70's dramas and cop shows. They were the kings of prime time, "Kojak" was the #1 show on CBS during its run and a favorite of NYPD officers. Instead, they'd rather release shows like "Northern Exposure" and other shows that don't measure up to shows like "Miami Vice", "Quincy", or "Kojak."

It's not in Prime Time, but ME TV now broadcasts Kojak at 2430 ET. It's great, and much more complex than I remember. Of course, when Kojak went off the air, I was 7. But I watch every night now. "Who loves ya baby..."

i agree, its nice to see a show that ages BETTER than you remember it, telly was amzingly good in the role, well written, complex plots, good stuff.
(although the me channel speeds up the tape on some of the episodes, its very slight but if you pay attention you can tell sometimes and its annoying)
