Which seasons were shot entirely in NY?
Was it just season 1? I`m surprised it`s not mentioned anywhere in the Kojak wiki.

I believe the tv movie "The Marcus-Nelson Murders" (1973) and some of the tv movies Telly Savalas filmed from the mid '80s to the year 1990 were shot entirely in New York City (if my memory serves me correctly).
Kojak: Season one, I believe also had some scenes filmed in California, but was made to look like it was taken place in New York City.
Season 1 thru 2 episodes of KOJAK were shot on the backlot of Universal Studios and also on location in New York.
Seasons 3 thru 5 were filmed entirely on location in the burroughs of New York and surrounding areas including parts of New Jersey and Connecticut.
