guest actors who appeared in more than one episode?

there was that guy who in the "priest" episode in the first (or early season), came back some years later.
corrupt cop who wrote a note to Kojak before shooting himself to death in the car, returned later as another (obviously) cop.
the big guy with the hat, the only guest actor who returned as the same character (as i can recall.)
woman who kind of looks like she could be related to telly savalas. (some similarity between them)
ken kercheval. (before he was cliff barnes in dallas.)

# dial to jail,
the wire that leads to my place,
today, it's dark in my world,
buddy, i'm sorry if i don't like to share my thoughts and words,
i guess my trust in people has gone failed,
and all i got left, are my letters from jail,
call my old number, i'm still here, as the years run by,
i want to reach further, but i don't know how,
looking back on our lives, i guess we both got our tales,
but all i got left now, are my letters from jail,
sunny days and good times are behind, my skin has paled,
whatever you say, i won't write down,
that's your story, not mine,
our worlds have parted, today we're on diffrent trails,
and all i got, are my letters from jail,
today, it's dark in my world./yours truly.#

Two of the actors that I recall were repeated were Rosie Greer as Salathiel Halms the bounty hunter and Hector Elizado first as a detective that murders his wifes' lover and later as a UN diplomat that is a child molester and spy.

I recognized Hector Elizado's voice right away. Took me a second to realize the guy with a head full of hair was him. Made me realize I'm mainly seen Hector Elizado in roles without hair.

No two persons ever watch the same movie.

The actor you're thinking of is Kenneth McMillan. He was very busy, died young in 1989.

Two friends of mine were in more than one episode: T.J. Castronova (I think he billed himself as Tom then) and Bobby Sutton (think he billed himself as Bob or, maybe, Robert; don't remember).

An actress by the name of Carole Cook (who later became a professional singer) was the same character in three, or, maybe, it was four, episodes.

Don Calf apeard in two episodes

Let's see, I got a few:

Daniel J. Travanti played different cops in the second and third seasons.

Madison Arnold played different bad guys in the third and fifth seasons.

Zohra Lampert played a gypsy in the first season, a doctor in the fifth season.

Andrea Marovicci played an emotionally unstable woman in the second season, a jazz singer (appropriate, she has a great voice) in the fifth season.

Tige Andrews was a tough cop in "The Chinatown Murders," a papparazzi in the fifth season.

Joey Aresco was a hustler in the first season, a cop in the fifth.

Charles Kimbrough appeared in the double feature "A Shield for Murder" and in "A Question of Answers". Both were great performances!

F. Murray Abraham appeared in two episodes: "A Question of Answers" and "The Godson". He should've played in more than two epsiodes. What a great actor!

There's a Steve Railsback looking character actor from back then named Joseph Hindy. He's been a troubled cop husband of Judith Light as well as a bad guy. Looking him up now, he actually appears to be in three Kojaks.

PS- Rosey Grier on Kojak back then made George Foreman on Sanford & Son look like Laurence Olivier. ;)

Stick Larry Gelman on there as well. He's Kojak's dentist Bernie, which is also his name as the urologist on Bob Newhart, and an episode of Scarecrow and Mrs. King. Not a main guest star, but he is on two Kojaks.

BTW- Anyone notice Hector Elizondo pulled that same "diplomatic immunity" crap on a Columbo episode? I think he actually kills somebody on there though.

Susan Sullivan played wildly different characters...one was woman who plotted her husband's murder and in the other she was a sweet woman who worked in an art gallery and was friends with Kojak. Two of my favorite episodes!

Is that Amazon Prime pumpkin-spiced?
