Episode title...please?

Need help identifying an episode title...it's been close to 20 years since I've seen it, but it still stands out in the back of my mind.

The episode begins with a younger man stepping out of an elevator, at which point a group of guys grab and gag him, tape his arms and legs together, then stuff him in the backseat of a car. From there, they either clogged the tailpipe or the gas tank (maybe both) as a way to asphyxiate the man.

I could've sworn it was an episode of Kojak, but in searching Google and various episode guides, I've got nothing.

Turns out I had part of it wrong...they actually followed him home from the courthouse and confronted him in his garage.
