I was born in the 70's but I just saw Superfly for the first time a couple of days ago. This is such a good film, and it will be in my movie collection. Ron O'Neal...what can I say not only was he an extremely talented actor, who was truly underrated and never really got the opportunity to display his gift in films that would challenge him as an actor as Superfly did, but he was simply gorgeous.

Yeah, I think I read somewhere where he was trying to read for some roles but the producers or whomever told him he didn't look black enough. How ridiculous.
