Linus v. Snoopy Fight Scene - Pretty Violent!

I'm watching it right now and was like WTF! It's like....jesus Linus share your damn blanket!

Snoopy stomps on Linus's foot
Linus pulls his collar back and snaps it
Snoopy rams into Linus knocking him over
Linus grabs Snoopy's nose and squeezes it - Snoopy yelps in pain
Then....Linus grabs Snoopy's nose again and squeezes it - Snoopy yelps again and we see a close up of his nose throbbing.
Snoopy then kicks Linus in the left foot - Linus SCREAMS IN PAIN
Snoopy then kicks Linus in the right foot - Linus' shoe flies off and he SCREAMS AGAIN in pain!

And the it ends with Linus throwing his shoe as hard as he can at Snoopy. Hitting him smack in the middle of his face (his sore nose might I add). And the impact is so intense that it sends Snoopy summersaulting a few times until he smacks into the side of the house---so hard that a potted plant falls from the ledge and smashes on his head.

I normally don't care and find cartoon violence funny at times, but I didn't like hearing both Snoopy & Linus yell/yelp/cry in pain.

Anybody else find this pretty violent for a Peanuts cartoon or am I overanalyzing?
