Is this any good?

This has got two of the best tough guys of all time, a good director, and a crazy premise. Is it worth buying?

If you like Lee Marvin and Gene Hackman it is definitly worth buying. It is
a great old fashioned action film that keeps the viewers attention. I recommend
it.

Yes -- it's a hidden gem of a filmfromthe 70's. And with Lee Marvin, Gene Hackman and Sissy Spacek -- you can't go wrong!

Yeah I'd buy it. I thought it was a cracking film when I watched it years ago.

I once bought this for 40 quid off ebay. It was a rusty old VHS tape and the picture quality was naff, but it still played well. Watched it last year when it came on BBC1 one Saturday night. After watching the first few minutes, my dad walked out.

It's a class action thriller with a good sub-plot involving the corruption of big business in the US. Hackman was a decent and humorous bad guy, but Greg Walcott was even more hateful as his thick-ear brother. Lee Marvin was as hard as ever, and I love the shootout at the end, especially when Lee tells that driver to go straight ahead and the truck smashes into the greenhouse. Like you said, they just don't make them like this anymore.

Who could also forget that irresistible tease played by Angel Tompkins?

Good score by Lalo Schifrin, as well.

I haven't seen Prime Cut yet, but I'm thinking of buying it. One can't go wrong with Lee Marvin and Gene Hackman. Sounds great!!

"Dry your eyes baby, it's out of character."

I really hate when people come on here and ask "Is this good?" How the hell does anyone know what you would like? Rent the frigging movie and find out for yourself!

I think it's fantastic, so yes.
