Previous posts here mention sausages in this movie, I don't know where the posters are from but I live in Missouri, not far from Kansas City, and those sure like what we call hot dogs that I see in this movie. I don't recall ever seeing a sausage in this movie. Most sausage is made of pork. Don't remember seeing hogs in the opening of the movie either, I've only seen this once so I may be mistaken. Weenie is another name for hotdog too.

In the opening of the movie, the character Murphy is made into sausages.

In the end of the movie Weenie (accidentially) tries to stab Lee with a sausage.

The first scene in the Car Hotel, in Weenie's room he is shown cutting what looks like roll salami.
