One of the things that always puzzled me about this movie was when Acres fell off the ladder. He landed into what was effectively the top of the open air vent. What exactly blew up underneath him? If the ship was upright it would have been open sky.

He had a grenade on him and the pin was pulled! 🤣

Yeah, his death is pretty shady, the way it's presented at least. I could maybe understand drowning with his bad leg but this was a bit far fetched the way it was.
