How funny is the blind date scene?


The scene where the Keaton character brings the date over to see Woody's character is one of the funniest scenes on film, imo. Anybody else agree?

Yes I do agree. For me it peaks when he nervously picks up the album and it shoots out of the sleeve. I mentioned on another post that I modelled my dating career on this scene and consequently I'm still single. At least I've got a lot to laugh about though!!

It's brilliant, and the rest of the cast are definitely corpsing by the end of it.

I completely agree that the other actors are corpsing by the end of the whole fiasco! I swear that when he tips the chair over, their laughter is real. It has to be! It just looks so authentic!

I get the feeling you're violating somebody's basic human rights here...

I saw it with a crowd when it first came out and it literally got screams of laughter. About 10 years later I again saw it with a crowd and still got those screams.
