i kind of guessed
that Holland was not real because i figured... why did they only called Niles to eat? that was strange
shareYeah, unfortunately in the many (many) years since this story was 'new' a lot of other lesser films and novels have taken these ideas and done them over and over. In the novel, although you get the feeling that 'something isn't right', it isn't until the big reveal (which, in my book was on a facing page, so the 'surprise' was ruined)that you found out the 'secret'.
And Holland definitely was real...
