Killer Of Killers.
'The Mechanic' came out in '72. 'Mr. Myjestic' is '74.
Did this film get re-released after Death Wish fame?

On the DVD, the trailer is for "KILLER OF KILLERS (formerly known as THE MECHANIC)" and completely misrepresents the film, making it look like Bronson is some sort of vigilante taking out various criminals on his own (hence the new title) and not someone who actually works for the mob. It is apparently for a re-release of the film after the success of DEATH WISH (which is mentioned in the trailer), and it's pretty funny how obviously they are trying to change the plotline of the film to reflect that "one man taking out the trash" theme. Jan-Michael Vincent's character isn't even mentioned.
share...to quote Arthur Bishop "These things happen..." I was surprised to see "Killer of Killers" as the theatrical trailer of "The Mechanic" on my DVD. Check out the theatrical trailers for "The Mechanic" on www.youtube.com.
shareKiller of killers was clearly a trailer
made after the success of Death Wish but
MGM might have decided not to re release
The mechanic with this title in the end.
In fact,i doubt that the movie was re released
at all.
