Cool. Thank you. I've never seen it on the big screen so this will be a first!

"The Mechanic" on the big screen is awesome and the look of it on film as compared to the digitized version on the DVD is fantastic.

I saw it at the New Beverly Cinema when they showed it there in 2009. The look of it is darker and somehow I seem to remember the sound being better as well.

See ya there...I'll be at the Sun 3;35 showing.

Hope folks made it out to the screening. They also gave out passes for everyone to go see the remake.

<nitpick>And The New Beverly is really located in Los Angeles proper, not Hollywood. Although it is pretty close to West Hollywood. :-)</nitpick>

It was great. I was at the 3:30 Sunday showing as well. I was surprised to see a line and glad Bronson still had so many fans. I'm definitely going to start seeing other classics at that revival theater.

I too was impressed by the line I saw when I walked up!! That sort of homage is so well deserved by Bronson. I had as great time as did a friend of mine who made the trip down form Las Vegas

I'll be checking the playbill for the New Beverly Cinema more regularly as well ...I live close enough to walk and for the admission price, you can't beat it !!

See ya there !!
