Ludwig on european TV!!

Western European viewers (sattelite, cable) who can get the channel "Arte" , are once again lucky, as today and tomorrow it features the full length Ludwig film.
It appears to me, in original cinema format as well..Having been a Video-recorer fanatic for the last 20 years, and so been recording countless rarities thru the years, (thanks to BBC, and to Arte,) this is only the second time I have seen the Ludwig passing on our screens. Being a Visconti - lover since the 1970s, when "Vemice" hit the theatres to much acclaim in holland, I can tell when his films were on TV...hardly ever. Only once did the German public network ZDF do a series on Visconti, in the night time. It was then that I recorded all his colour films.
Presently slowly there are DVD's being released, in Europe, and can we discard of the old tapes.... LONG LIVE Visconti's work, even though being "outdated" a little, " they don't make it like this anymore...".
