Real Bruce Lee Movie or Urban Legend

Sorry if you've seen this post elsewhere but I'm making the rounds.

Maybe this is just an urban legend kind of thing but I read that when he was much younger Bruce was in a movie only released in Hong Kong where he actually played a cop with a young partner. (an unoriginal plot but it would still be cool to see). Bruce and his partner are invesigating a local drug gang (I know more unoriginal but wait...). During the investigation Bruce's character gets killed. Later it turns out that Bruce's character faked his own death and turns out to be the drug lord. In the end Bruce and his partner have a showdown.

Like I said unoriginal but would be cool to see Bruce as a Villain. I know that Bruce was always scared he would get typecast so it is feasible. Anyway, I was first told this by the manager/owner of a cult video store. He showed me an index of Bruce's movies some of which I had never heard of. I know his movies were released with different titles in different locations but there was a movie title with a synopsis that was very similar to what I've just described. The cult video store didn't have a copy and I've been looking for it ever since. It's starting to feel like a holy grail kind of deal. Run Away! Run Away!
