did anyone realise at the start of the movie...


It was raining and Bruce Lee was dress in all white and rushing to his school entrance and he nearly slip and fall... that part was hilarious!

Listen, in Chinese culture white is the traditional color of mourning - not black, as in the west. Remember, this film was made for an Asian, not western audience.

Bruce nearly slipped and fell because he so shocked with having to face the reality that his Sifu (gung-fu master) was dead. That's what the script, actor, and director were trying to convey to the audience.

Yeah. he slipped, almost fell and stayed in character. Now that's just good method acting :)

You can look at it two ways.

One he accidentally slipped and covered it by continuing in order to make it look like he was rushing to his master's side as fast as possible before they buried him.

Or two he did it on purpose to convey his shock at his master's death.
