i thought that was a few nights after the marriage?! but yes, i assumed that meant she was allowing it and he was happy about it too!

For me, it's hard to tell. We know Del Gue split right after the wedding ceremony, but we don't know if Johnson's honeymoon night was spent in the village. If so, Johnson may not have, since Swan was reluctant to have him even touch her hands to make the sign of the cross and nod while he said, "Religious." But, if their honeymoon night was the same night Swan allowed Johnson to pull back the buffalo robe after turning in, than he probably did.
