Why did the Crow keep sending one hit man at a time to go after JJ? They just kept getting picked off one after another. Wouldn't they send out a group to surround him and dispatch of him once and for all? Don't say it's about honor, either, because they sent out a group to kill his wife and kid.

It WAS about honor. In fact, Del Gue even mentions it: "You should be thankful it wasn't the Apache. They would have sent 50 men and surrounded you."

He was deemed a great warrior so anyone who engaged him was to gain respect no matter if he would be victorious or die.
