One of the better films of the '70's

A little over $3 million to make and so much entertainment for the value.

This is why Redford is regarded as one of the Hollywood greats. I think he just turned 80 recently.

Total respect for Director: Sydney Pollack.

Your title makes it sound like the 70's were not such a great decade for movies. Either way, I wouldn't even put this close to one of the best films in any decade.

THIS IS A MANLY MOVIE FOR MEN...I UNDERSTAND WHY YOU DON'T RATE IT.🙂

There are no apostrophes in 70s: Kate Turabian, The Chicago Manual of Style.

I state this to start to discredit your entire post. “One of the better films of the ‘70’s [sic].” How so? I don’t think that decade had anything noteworthy about it, including movies, with the sole exception of Carol Doda’s breathtaking personal enhancements. Prithee, elaborate.

I love this movie. I didn't know it was made in the 70's until now.
