Good news for all fans of this TV Christmas special! Paramount has finally announced a DVD release for October 16! It would have been better had the DVD been planned for the Christmas season, but oh well. At least it will be available by then!

Picked this up for around $10 at Hastings, over the weekend. The transfer looks great. Too bad the Thanksgiving Special they did was not out in time for Turkey Day. Hopefully sales of the Christmas film will encourage them to release the other three films in the series.
shareI bought the DVD a few weeks back and have been waiting a little closer to Christmas to watch it. I was not disappointed. I found it very moving and my wife was weepy throughout. Pick it up!
shareCan anyone tellme if the song "O Christmas Tree or O Tannenbaum" sung in this movie? I keep trying to recall this movie from the 70's and I wanted to call it 'O Christmas Tree". I called to ask my mother if she rememebered this movie and she thought I was crazy. LOL
