I haven't seen this in a long, long time. I do remember the fadeouts as they went to commercial. The scene would be recreated on construction paper. At the hair cutting scene, Addy was in the background and it was dark and Addy was done in brown construction paper with white eyes making her look like a backwards ghost in the background

Anyway, no hair cutting scene in any of the specials. Addie gets a perm in the final special, the one about Valentine's Day, Addie and the King of Hearts. I remember the fadeout you're talking about, but can't recall which of the specials it's in.
