It’s too good.
Obviously from the original camera negative, it looks eerily like modern HD video. Colors are a little hot, but not a scratch or blemish anywhere.
Not sure it has ever looked this good, even in a 1972 theater.
Weird just bought one yesterday and watching it today- looks unreal. Was watching ex machina on blu ray yesterday and it almost looked as bad as a dvd
shareI’ve had that experience too. Spent $30 on the recent “Defending Your Life” Blu-Ray — bloody awful.
Instead of joy in sharing one of my favorites with a gf I just felt embarrassed.
Great movie too, not got the bluray for it yet, still on dvd. Laughed cause i also feel embarrassed when watching bad quality blus with my gf after i wont shut up about how yes theyre worth upgrading:D
