And you just know that any film made today intended to be a big drawing blockbuster, is going to have a rapper or two in the cast, which usually means an interminable dosage of hip hop added to the score or soundtrack, whether it's appropriate for a period piece or not.
Now I'm one that enjoys a little rap with my Courvoisier from time to time but there is a time and place.... Lets not forget "The Great Gatsby" fiasco. It was a period piece starring Leo. Its seemed to be going just fine and they even had the look and feel of the 20's. Then....Out of no where..... much to our horror they decided to add rap music to it. No one in the theater knew whether to laugh or cry. Im sure they will remake "Gone with the wind" and Leo will be Rhett Butler. I imagine rap lyrics thrown in like: "Its like a jungle sometimes...sometimes I wonder what keeps Rhett from going under!..ugh hugh ugh hugh ugh hugh........." They will call it: "Gone With the Wind:Redux"
