This movie is quite similar to the movie "Thirteen".
In Thirteen, the first drug the character does is also Acid or LSD. She does a lot of drugs and has sex and stuff. Many other things are similar. If you like Go Ask Alice, I would recommend Thirteen because of it's many similarities. It's a good movie too.
Yeh, I guess there's some similarities. Thirteen is like an updated version of Go Ask Alice in a way..
But Go Ask Alice was made in a much more innocent and naive time than Thirteen. When Go Ask Alice was first broadcast it shocked the hell out of middle class America parents. Drugs! Drug Use! Prostitution! Runaways!
Now it would be thought of as cheesy.
Besides.. Thirteen doesn't have William Shatner in a bad hairpeice and an even worse looking fake mustache.. =)))
But Thirteen is definitely a good movie...
Thirteen is an amazing movie. I love Nikki and Evan but it's nothing compaired to the book Go Ask Alice.
The worse part they do in Thirteen is sneak out of the theatre to hang out with friends.
In the book that's different... Worse, way worse things happen to Alice.
