I got the movie on VHS at a bargain bin at Best Buy a couple of years ago. I don't see it anymore, but I saw it on Ebay.com as a 2 on 1 DVD recently for $20.00.

Francesca,
There is 1 listing at ebay (where I go for old movies), and there's 3 days left before the auction ends, I am NOT the seller, but I read the listing, and the seller ships world wide.
Here is the link to the auction page:

I just put it in my "watch list", I am curious how much it finaly sells for, as I want it too someday.
Good Luck!

After searching for years , I lucked out and stumbled onto the DVD version at Zellers in Toronto for $4.99CDN yesterday morning.
I couldn't beleive it!
In amongst all the junk and crap cheap DVD's was this gem of a film...

It's a double sided DVD with "Go Ask Alice" on one side and "The Strangers in 7A" on the other.
It's an Andy Griffith DVD. (Only his name is on the front ov the cover)

The quality is good, although it doesnt appear to have been remastered.
The DVD is distributed in America by "Quality Special Products" (no website or address shown) which is owned by:

DSSP INC.
PO Box 2600
Plattsburgh,NY
12901-0229

the Candian Address is:
DSSP INC
Box 31
Victoria Station
Westmount, Quebec
H3Z 2V8

So you could try writing them to find out how to get the DVD.

I found the video VHS version available and in stock (at the time i posted this) for $14.24US here...

http://www.moviesunlimited.com/musite/product.asp?sku=553015++

I found a couple of listings that way for the dvd, with prices as low as $4.99 US

Unfortunately they were both out of stock, but you could sign up to have them mail you if they get it in.

I want it too...

I live in Holland and I don't have a credit card.
So E Bay is out of the question.
Anyone know another website?

reply

Oh, please do.

Or post it on youtube?

reply

Yeh..
Hmmm.. But Youtube has a 100MB file size limit...

I can rip the DVD into 4 or 5 AVIs of around 120MB each, then convert them into FLVs (Flash streaming video format).
Youtube converts all uploaded vids into FLVs before they post them.
The FLVs will be around 80 to 90MB each.. and the quality will still be good.

So yeah I'll try and do that tonight..

If Youtube rejects the movie because of copyright infringement, I'll upload the AVIs to a file sharing site and post the links here..
